As we age, it becomes increasingly important to maintain an active lifestyle and prioritize our physical and mental well-being. Chair yoga offers a gentle yet effective approach to exercise and relaxation, making it an ideal practice for seniors.
Together we will explore why seniors need chair yoga and how it can significantly improve their overall health and quality of life, improve flexibility and balance, and improve posture, through a series of seated and supported yoga postures.
Participants will learn how to use a chair as a prop to support their practice, making yoga accessible and enjoyable for individuals of all abilities. Throughout the session, Sunny will share clear instructions, modifications, and options to adapt the poses to your individual needs and abilities.
