The Accessible Yoga Association’s Scholars Fund seeks to support diversity in yoga by offering direct funding for yoga practitioners with marginalized identities to become yoga teachers.
The program offers grants of $1,000 towards the tuition of a basic yoga teacher training certification program. These are $1,000 gifts for potential yoga teachers to apply toward a training of their choosing.
In 2022, we are partnering with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) to dedicate five Scholar's Fund grants in honor of Marsha Danzig, who passed away on January 8th, 2022 of COVID-19. Marsha was the founder of Yoga for Amputees and a cherished member of the Accessible Yoga community.
